Privacy notice

Shape Your Brand LLC, a Florida limited liability company in the United States, trading as KinPeak, is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us at hello@shapeyourbrand.com.

We never ask for your bank login, so there is no credential to steal. There is no transaction feed, no aggregator such as Plaid, and no copy of your financial life at a company you never chose. We hold the numbers you chose to type and the month they belong to.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Account data — your email address and sign-in method (password, magic link, or Google). Used to create your account, sign you in, and secure it. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.

Household budget data — the income, recurring costs, account balances, debts, goals and notes you type in, plus the names of people you invite. Used to provide the service and do the arithmetic you asked for. Legal basis: performance of our contract.

Support and email correspondence — messages you send us, and delivery events (sent, opened, bounced) for the service emails we send from notify.kinpeak.com. Used to answer you and to keep our email working. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interests.

Usage and technical data — pages visited, actions in the app, approximate location from IP address, device and browser type, error logs. Used for security, fraud prevention, fixing bugs and improving the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests, and consent where local law requires it for analytics.

Payment data — handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. We receive a record that a subscription exists, its plan and status; we never see or store your full card number.

Infrastructure providers — hosting, database, and transactional email providers that run KinPeak on our behalf under contract.

SnapSello (snapsello.com) — privacy-first product insights, so we can see which pages and features are used. Aggregate engagement, not a profile of you.

Google Analytics and Google Search Console — website traffic measurement and search performance for kinpeak.com.

Paddle — our merchant of record, for checkout, subscription management, payment processing, sales tax compliance and invoicing.

Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where we are legally required to disclose.

That's the whole list. Nobody buys this data, because we don't sell it.

Essential — session and authentication storage that keeps you signed in. The site cannot work without these.

Analytics — SnapSello and Google Analytics, to understand how the site and app are used.

We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential ones will sign you out. Where local law requires consent for analytics, we ask before setting them.

KinPeak is operated from the United States and your data is processed there. If you are in the EEA or the UK, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses with our processors.

Household data is kept while your household is active. Deleting a household removes its data from the live service immediately; encrypted backups roll off within 30 days. Account records are deleted within 30 days of account closure, except where we must keep transaction records for tax and accounting purposes — Paddle keeps those under its own obligations. Anything we no longer need is deleted or anonymised.

Encryption in transit, row-level access controls so one household can never read another's data, least-privilege access for our own staff, and no storage of bank credentials because we never collect them. No system is perfectly secure, but the smaller the pile, the smaller the prize.

You can access, correct, export or delete your data yourself from Settings at any time. You can also ask us to do it.

Depending on where you live you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws may request disclosure or deletion of personal information and may opt out of any sale or sharing — we do neither. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.

Email hello@shapeyourbrand.com and we will respond within 30 days (one month for EEA/UK requests). If you are in the EEA or UK you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

KinPeak is for adults managing a household budget. It is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we'll delete it.

If we change this notice materially we will update the date above and email account holders before the change takes effect.
