These prompts work once KinPeak is connected. The assistant calls the shared calculation engine, so its answers match what you see in the app.
Tools the assistant can use
KinPeak exposes six read-only tools and one write tool. The assistant only sees your household's data because every request carries your signed-in identity.

Privacy and security
- No bank credentials. KinPeak never connects to financial institutions, so the assistant cannot either.
- OAuth only. The assistant gets a short-lived token, not your password. You can revoke it at any time.
- RLS applies. The assistant only sees your own household. It cannot peek at anyone else's data.
- You approve each client. A consent screen lists exactly what the assistant is asking to access.
What the assistant cannot do
- Move, spend, or transfer money.
- Connect to your bank or credit cards.
- See data from other KinPeak households.
- Change your household members or settings.
- Give financial advice — it returns your own entered figures and the arithmetic on them, nothing more.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a paid KinPeak account?
The MCP server works with any KinPeak account. If your trial has ended, you will still be able to connect, but the assistant can only read or write what your subscription allows.
Can the AI move money or make payments?
No. KinPeak never connects to banks, and the MCP tools can only read the numbers you have entered or record a balance you tell it about. It cannot transfer, spend, or trade anything.
Which AI apps work with KinPeak?
Any MCP client that supports OAuth-protected HTTP servers. We have tested ChatGPT, Claude, and OpenClaw.
What does the AI see?
Exactly what you see when you are signed in to KinPeak. Row-level security means the assistant only has access to your own household's data, and only the tools you approved during setup.
How do I disconnect an assistant?
You can revoke access from the assistant's own settings, or from KinPeak settings once we add a connected-apps list there.
